Bhubaneswar: Ruling Biju Janata Dal on Friday slammed Odisha Congress for creating violence during Bandh in Nabarangpur.
BJD national spokesperson Dr Sasmit Patra alleged that the Congress is trying to hide its violence act during Bandh.
While criticizing the Congress, Patra said, before asking questions to BJD, the Congress, which is always chanting Gandhian philosophy of non-violence, should ask itself about the involvement of its senior leaders in violence during Bandh.
How could a senior Congress leader ask his party workers to ready with petrol and diesel and act as soon as order comes, Patra asked.
He further alleged that the Congress is unable to digest the huge success of the ruling government which put Odisha on developmental path with visible transformation.
