Bhubaneswar: After the detection of several positive cases of COVID-19, the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has declared Harinagar Basti (Ward No 56) in BJB Nagar here as a containment zone to prevent further spread of the virus.
The below areas coming within the boundary of Harinagar Basti, BJB Nagar has declared as the containment zone.
i. From Baragada Canal to Gayatri Mandir
ii. From Gayatri Mandir to Scholar Boys Hostel
iii. From Scholar Boys Hostel to Hari Nagar Basti Entrance
iv. From Harinagar Basti Entrance to Baragada Canal
No public shall be allowed to move into the containment zone and the inhabitants within the containment zone shall not move out. All the inhabitants within the containment zone shall strictly remain in home. All the shopping establishment of whatsoever nature shall be closed immediately, the BMC said in an order.
All the Govt and private Institutions located within the boundary of the containment zone is closed forthwith. BMC will ensure supply of essentials/Medicines in the containment zones, the order stated.
