Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has launched a special vaccination drive for food delivery boys in the capital city.
A special vaccination camp for delivery boys is being stated at 7 th Battalion School undee BMC North Zone.
As a part of its drive to make home delivery safe, the BMC has started the campaign to vaccinate all delivery boys of Swiggy and Zomato, informed BMC Commissioner Sanjay Kumar Singh.
Under the guidance of Singh, the civic body has taken several initiatives, like doorstep RT-PCR sample collection for senior citizens and expectant mothers, and pick-and-drop facility for elderly people for vaccination, special vaccination drive for IT professionals and vaccination camps at old-age homes.
These initiatives have received wider appreciation in the State.
