Bhubaneswar: The launching of the Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana Nabin Card is a revolutionary step that will be a model for the entire country. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today announced the launching of this new Yojana that will ensure free healthcare for more than 90 percent of the population of the state.
5T and Nabin Odisha Chairman Kartik Pandian shared a video of CM Naveen on Instagram in which Naveen is talking about the new initiative.
According to Naveen, the Yojana will cover almost all the people of rural Odisha. 5T Chairman Kartik Pandian says that the Phase three of the BSKY will be known as BSKY Nabin Card and all families of rural areas can join the scheme.
Odisha will be the first state in the country to move towards a near universal health assurance. With phase three expansion of the Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana – BSKY Nabin Card, almost 90 percent of Odisha’s population will have health assurance. The 5T Chairman also wrote that “Whoever is not having the BSKY card in rural Odisha, please get ready for registration from 5th January to 15th January. The details will be out soon.
“History will remember Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for bringing smiles in the lives of people of Odisha through this revolutionary step. This will be a model for the entire country”, Pandian wrote.
