Bhubaneswar: The budget session of the 16th State Legislative Assembly will begin from June 25.
It would be the first session of the Assembly after the formation of new government in Odisha.
The session will begin with speech by the Governor Ganeshi Lal in the House.
The Odisha budget for the year 2019-20 will be tabled in the House on June 28, a day after Deputy Speaker election, sources said.
As per the schedule, there will be 30 business days during the session from June 25 till August 8.
The first phase of the budget session will continue till July 2, while the second phase of the session will start from July 12 to August 8.
