New Delhi: The Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs has recommended holding the Budget Session in two phases from January 31 to April 3.
The Union Budget will be presented on February 1.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Union Budget 2020-2021.
The first phase of the session will be from January 31 to February 11 and the second will be from March 2 to April 3.
The budget session is likely to be stormy in view of ongoing protests over the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and the economic slowdown, sources said.
