Bureaucratic Reshuffle in Odisha: PK Jena Given Additional Charge as Agriculture Production Commissioner, DK Singh to Remain Addl Charge as Principal Secy to Home Dept

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government on Saturday effected a bureaucratic reshuffle at the senior IAS level, giving additional charge of Agriculture Production Commissioner to Pradeep Kumar Jena and has allowed Deoranjan Kumar Singh to remain in additional charge of Principal Secretary to Home Department.

As per notification issued by the General Administration & Public Grievance Department, Pradeep Kumar Jena, DC-cum-ACS and Secretary to Government, Planning & Convergence Department with additional charge of Special Relief Commissioner, Odisha and Managing Director, Odisha State Disaster Management Authority is also allowed to remain in additional charge of Agriculture Production Commissioner, Odisha consequent upon relieving of Sanjeev Chopra from the State Government w.e.f 31.10.2022.

Raj Kumar Sharma, Director General, Training Co-ordination, Gopabandhu Academy of Administration, Bhubaneswar is appointed as Member, Board of Revenue, Odisha, Cuttack consequent upon superannuation of G.V.V. Sarma w.e.f 31.10.2022.

He is allowed to remain in additional charge of Director General, Training Co-ordination, Gopabandhu Academy of Administration, Bhubaneswar, the notification stated.

Satyabrata Sahu, Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Revenue & Disaster Management Department is allowed to remain in additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary to Government. Odia Language, Literature & Culture Department consequent upon superannuation of Madhu Sudan Padhi w.e.f 31.10.2022 .

Deoranjan Kumar Singh, Principal Secretary to Government, Steel & Mines Department with additional charge of Chairman, OMC, Chairman, OMECL and Chairman, IDCOL, Bhubaneswar is also allowed to remain in additional charge of Principal Secretary to Government, Home Department consequent upon relieving of Sanjeev Chopra from the State Government w.e f 31.10.2022.

Saswata Mishra, Principal Secretary to Governor, Odisha with additional charge of Chairman, OSSSC is also allowed to remain in additional charge of Principal Secretary to Government, Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises Department.

The additional appointment of Satyabrata Sahu as Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises Department shall stand terminated from the date Saswata Mishra takes over.

Roopa Roshan Sahoo, Special Secretary to Chief Minister, Odisha with additional charge of Director, TE & SCERT, Odisha and Director. English Language Training Institute is also allowed to remain in additional charge of Commissioner-cum-Secretary to Government, ST & SC Development, M&BCW Department.

The additional appointment of Saswata Mishra as Principal Secretary to Government, ST & SC Development, M&BCW Department shall stand terminated from the date Roopa Roshan Sahoo takes over, the notification added.
