Campaign for Patkura Polls to End Today

Bhubaneswar: High voltage campaign for the by-election to the Patkura assembly seat in Kendrapara district will end this evening.

As per the guidelines of the Election Commission, the campaigning for the ensuing elections in the assembly constituency will continue till 5 pm today.

With barely few hours left for the end of campaign, BJD, BJP and Congress have intensified the campaign to seek support for their party candidates.

Several heavyweights including the star campaigners of the political parties are expected to take part in the campaign to woo the voters.

BJD supremo and Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik hit campaign trail for his party candidate Sabitri Agarwalla on Wednesday.

Naveen covered several panchayats in the Patkura Assembly constituency in his day-long roadshow and sought votes for the BJD.

Patkura Assembly seat will go to poll on July 20.
