Bhubaneswar: The officials of the Election Commission of India (ECI) led by Chief Election Commissioner are on a three-day visit to review the preparedness in Odisha for the general elections 2024.
Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar and Election Commissioner Arun Goel, along with senior officers of the ECI have arrived at Bhubaneswar on Thursday.
Over the next two days, the ECI team will be reviewing the poll preparedness of District Election Officers (DEOs), Superintendents of Police (SPs), enforcement agencies, State Nodal officers, and senior officials of Odisha in relation to the elections.
The ECI team will conduct the review from Bhubaneswar. The officials will also hold discussions with representatives of political parties about the election related issues.
