Bhubaneswar: Chief Secretary Asit Kumar Tripathy’s father Gouri Shankar Tripathy passed away yesterday. He was 96.
Born at Jogisurada village in Louisinga Block in Balangir district in 1924, he had worked as Block Development Officer in Titlagarh, Saintala, Balangir, etc.
He was considered as a kind hearted officer, who loved literature and used to promote local poets.
