Hyderabad: Telugu actor-politician Chiranjeevi tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19).
The veteran actor took to twitter to inform about his test report.
“Took a test for COVID before resuming ‘Aacharya’ shoot as a protocol and unfortunately I tested positive”, 65-year old Chiranjeevi said.
“I am currently asymptomatic and quarantining myself at home”, he said while requesting those who met him in the last five few days to also undergo COVID-19 tests.
Chiranjeevi had met Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao last week to donate a sum of Rs 1 crore for the Hyderabad flood relief fund, according to reports.
