Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today announced a hike of 25 percent in the remuneration of outsourcing employees engaged in various government departments through service provider agencies.
The CM also announced several steps for the betterment of outsourcing employees.
It is worth noting that the outsourcing employees met 5T Chairman Kartik Pandian regarding their various problems. Accordingly, the State Government has taken a slew of measures for the outsourcing employees.
The State Government has decided to take steps in order to ensure that the outsourcing employees will get their remuneration at the end of the month on time.
The Chief Minister has announced the formation of Odisha State Outsourcing Employees OMBUDSMAN to resolve various disputes between outsourcing employees and service provider agencies.
The employees with experience will be paid more. Rs 1000 more will be paid per month for every five years of experience.
Female employees can take maternity leave for up to 120 days until the birth of their first two children.
There will be a nodal officer in each department for hearing the complaints of outsourcing employees and Service Provider Agencies.
A Software Application will be developed through GA&PG Department, CMGI to simplify their complaint submission. In which both employees and agencies can submit their grievances.
Outsourcing employees who are currently receiving increased wages will be secured under the new system.
All departments will make supplementary agreements with service providing agencies to implement the decisions in an orderly manner.
