Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister on Wednesday appreciated Subarnapur Collector Monisha Banerjee for setting up dedicated 200 bedded COVID Health Centre, with 46 cabins, functional in short time.
The CM said that the standalone hospital will treat COVID-19 patients in this part of the state, further strengthening Odisha’s fight against the pandemic.
Even though no positive case has surfaced from Subarnapur district so far, the Collector has taken a proactive step to set up the dedicated hospital.
In his twitter handle, CM wrote, “Appreciate @DM_Subarnapur for making dedicated 200 bed Covid Health Centre, with 46 cabins, functional in short time. The standalone hospital will treat #COVID19 patients in this part of the state, further strengthening #Odisha’s fight against the pandemic”.
