Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has congratulated Odia scientist Jyotirmayee Mohanty on being selected for the IUPAC (International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry) 2023 award.
ଦେଶର ପ୍ରଥମ ମହିଳା ଭାବେ ସମ୍ମାନଜନକ @IUPAC ୨୦୨୩ ପୁରସ୍କାର ପାଇବାକୁ ମନୋନୀତ ହୋଇଥିବା ଓଡ଼ିଆ ବୈଜ୍ଞାନିକ ଜ୍ୟୋତିର୍ମୟୀ ମହାନ୍ତିଙ୍କୁ ଶୁଭେଚ୍ଛା ଜଣାଉଛି। ରସାୟନ ବିଜ୍ଞାନ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ ସେ ଅର୍ଜନ କରିଥିବା କୃତିତ୍ୱ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଗର୍ବ ଓ ଗୌରବର ବିଷୟ। ଆଗାମୀ ଦିନରେ ତାଙ୍କର ଆହୁରି ସଫଳତା କାମନା କରୁଛି।

Mohanty, a scientist at the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai, was announced as one of the awardees for the IUPAC 2023 Distinguished Women in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
She is the first woman in the country to receive the award.
