Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday dedicated 73 government hospitals across 15 districts under the ‘Ama Hospital’ initiatives to provide patient centric and quality healthcare services to the people of the State.
The CM has also inaugurated the Patient Feedback System through IVRS & Biometric Attendance System through facial recognition software.
As many as five hospitals in Bargarh district, 7 in Sundargarh district, 4 in Sambalpur district, 4 in Dhenkanal district, 6 in Keonjhar district, 2 in Jharsuguda district, 4 in Jagatsinghpur district, 5 in Kendrapara district, 9 in Mayurbhanj district, 13 in Ganjam district, 4 in Kalahandi district, 4 in Rayagada district, 4 in Nuapada district. 2 in the district, 2 in Malkangiri district and 3 in Kandhamal district have been transformed under the 5T Ama Hospital initiative.
The Chief Minister also dedicated the dialysis centres in sub-divisional hospitals at Karanjia in Mayurbhanj, Kuchinda in Sambalpur, Hinjilikatu in Ganjam, Khariar in Nuapada and Padampur in Bargarh district.
On this occasion, the CM interacted with people from different districts, who in turn expressed their happiness to get all health facilities at their doorsteps.
Ministers Niranjan Pujari, Rajendra Dholakia, Sarada Nayak, Sudam Marndi and several MLAs attended the programme from different places.
5T and Nabin Odisha Chairman Kartik Pandian coordinated the programme.
Health Secretary Shalini Pandit and other officials were also present on the occasion.
