Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has expressed his deep grief over the death of noted Odia playback singer Tapu Mishra, who passed away while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in the city for post-COVID complications last evening.
ଲୋକପ୍ରିୟ କଣ୍ଠଶିଳ୍ପୀ ତପୁ ମିଶ୍ରଙ୍କ ଦେହାନ୍ତ ବିଷୟରେ ଜାଣି ମୁଁ ଦୁଃଖିତ। ଓଡ଼ିଆ ସଙ୍ଗୀତ ଜଗତରେ ସେ ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିଥିବା କୀର୍ତ୍ତି ସର୍ବଦା ତାଙ୍କୁ ସ୍ମରଣୀୟ କରି ରଖିବ। ତାଙ୍କ ଅମର ଆତ୍ମାର ସଦଗତି କାମନା କରିବା ସହ ଶୋକସନ୍ତପ୍ତ ପରିବାର ସଦସ୍ୟଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ମୋର ସମବେଦନା ଜଣାଉଛି।

A pall of gloom descended on the Odia film industry following the death of the 36-year-old vocalist.
Tapu Mishra had lent her voice for several Odia movies and bhajans. She had also released her own album songs.
