Berhampur: In a New Year gift to the people of silk city, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today inaugurated the new age technology unique laser show cum Musical Fountain at Ramalingam Park, Berhampur.
The project has been established at a cost of Rs.6.94 crore by Berhampur Development Authority and Berhampur Municipal Corporation. The project is one-of-its-kind with latest new age technology from OASE, Germany, a leader in plumbing less, energy efficient DMX/RDM controlled fountain technology. The OASE fountains have been installed in major cities like Dubai, Singapore, Seoul and Paris. The installation in Berhampur is done by KSR Brothers of New Delhi.
The 3D mapping, laser show story have been done by Aman Arora of Musical Theatre 3D with the story researched by eminent Hindi & Sanskrit scholar and Secretary Hindi Academy, New Delhi, Dr Jeetram Bhatt.
The music has been composed exclusively for the show by internationally famous Indian music band- Indian Ocean with voice-over by Jitendra Prasad, one of the leading voice-over artists in the country.
This laser show and musical fountain will add another golden page to the history of Berhampur.
Ganjam Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange coordinated the inauguration ceremony in the presence of 5T Secretary VK Pandian.
It was attended by MP, Berhampur, MP, Aska, MLAs of Berhampur Polasara, Sorada, Chatrapur, Chikiti and all senior officers of the district.
The vote of thanks was given by Vice-Chairman, BeDA-cum-Commissioner, BeMC Dr. Siddeshwar Baliram Bondar.
