CM Lauds Ganjam District Admin for Efforts to Prevent Spread of COVID-19

Berhampur: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has highly appreciated the efforts of the Ganjam district administration in containing the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).

The Chief Minister praised Ganjam Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange and the district team for taking a slew of innovative measures to keep the district safe from the deadly virus.

Naveen called the Collector over phone on Monday and appreciated the good works being done by Team Ganjam in fighting the deadly virus.

From arranging quarantine facilities to thousands of returnees, to health screening of lakhs of people, to strictly enforcing lockdown and social distancing norms, to facilitating home delivery of ration and medicines, to helping out stranded workers, to mobilizing the masses on using masks and adopting other sanitation measures, the Ganjam district administration has always been at the forefront in the State’s fight against the corona pandemic.

“We as a team is committed to fight against corona to keep it at bay”, said the Collector.
