Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today launched the distribution of smart health cards under the Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana (BSKY) in Cuttack district.
The beneficiaries can avail free health services by using this card in more than 200 big hospitals across the country including Odisha.
As per the scheme, each family can avail treatment cost up to Rs 5 lakh per annum. Women members can avail this benefit up to Rs 10 lakh every year.
The Chief Minister also inaugurated and laid foundation stones for various developmental projects worth Rs 1567 crore for the people of Cuttack district.
Speaking on the occasion, the CM reiterated his commitment to transform SCB Medical College and Hospital into a “AIIMS Plus” institution with world class healthcare infrastructure.
