Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi today felicitated the Indian Men’s Hockey team that won historic bronze medal at the Paris Olympics 2024.
The CM felicitated the victorious team at a function held at the iconic Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar.
A rousing welcome was given to the team on their arrival at Biju Patnaik International Airport here.
Earlier, the Chief Minister announced a cash reward of Rs 15 lakh to each team member of the team and Rs 10 lakh for supporting staffers for winning the bronze medal at the Paris Olympics.
The Chief Minister also announced a special cash prize of Rs 4 crore for Odia hockey player Amit Rohidas.
