Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has congratulated the former Chief Minister of Jharkhand and senior BJP leader Raghubar Das on being appointed as the Governor of Odisha. Taking to social media site X, Naveen wrote “Congratulate Shri @dasraghubar Ji on being appointed as Governor of #Odisha. Looking forward to working with him towards the state’s development and people’s welfare. Wish him a successful tenure.”
It is worth mentioning here that President Droupadi Murmu has appointed Raghubar Das as Governor of Odisha and the appointment will take effect from the date Das assumes charge of his office. He will replace Prof. Ganeshi Lal.
