CM Naveen Patnaik Inaugurates Srimandira Parikrama Prakalpa

Puri: History is created today as Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated the ambitious Srimandira Parikrama Prakalpa.

Naveen unveiled the Parikrama Prakalpa plaque amidst the chanting of mantras and in the presence of Gajapati Maharaja Dibyasingha Deb, senior servitors and 5T Chairman Kartik Pandian. The three-day Mahayagna also came to an end with the Purnahuti.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had announced in 2019 to transform Puri into a global heritage city by improving the infrastructure and facilities.

As part of this, the foundation stone for the Srimandira Parikrama Prakalpa was laid on November 24, 2021. After exactly two years and 54 days, today the Chief Minister unveiled the Parikrama Project.
