CM Naveen Patnaik To Inaugurate India’s Largest Sports Science Center At Kalinga Stadium Today

Bhubaneswar: Adding another feather to the cap of Odisha’s illustrious sporting infrastructure, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will today inaugurate the most modern and India’s largest Sports Science Center. The Sports Science Center has been established at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar. The new addition will greatly improve the performance of the sports persons and provide world-class class facilities for training, rehabilitation and injury management. It will also help the sports persons in performance assessment and enhancement, rehabilitation, recovery etc.

The Kalinga Stadium Sports Science Center has ultra-modern facilities such as specialized laboratories – Mind Lab, Rehabilitation Lab, Recovery Lab, Gait Lab, Functional Lab, Postural Lab, Biomechanics Lab, Physiology Lab, and Para-athlete Performance Lab. The Sports Science Centre will have the most modern equipments and a team of experts including physiotherapists, biomechanists, strength and conditioning specialists, sport scientists, sport medicine specialists, data analysts, nutritionists, sport psychologists, exercise physiologists, and sport massage therapists.
