Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today paid last respects to health Minister Naba Kishore Das. He laid a floral wrath on the mortal remains at his residence in Bhubaneswar. Naba Das had succumbed to the bullet injuries he had received yesterday when an ASI shot at him during a visit to Brajrajnagar in Jharsuguda district.
The Chief Minister also consoled the members of the bereaved family. Naba’s dead body will be taken to his native place in Jharsuguda for cremation where he will be accorded a funeral with state honors. A three day state mourning has also been declared in Odisha.
