Puri: Today, a new chapter is being written in golden letters in History as Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is all set to dedicate the Heritage Corridor Project for the people in Puri. The Heritage Corridor Project, also known as the Parikrama Prakalpa will be inaugurated by the Chief Minister after the completion of the three day long Maha Yagna. Gajapati Maharaja Dibyasingha Deb will perform the Purnahuti of the Maha Yagna and the Chief Minister is scheduled to inaugurate the plaque of the Parikrama Project between 1.15 pm to 1. 30 pm. All arrangements have been completed for this and the government has declared holiday today in the state.

The whole state is reverberating with Jay Jagannath and religious fervor has gripped across. Naveen has also appealed all to light diyas and recite bhajans and kirtans on this holy occasion. After the launch of the project, the Chief Minister will felicitate and thank all those who have contributed and participated for the completion of the project. After 3 pm, the public will be allowed to take a tour of the Parikrama Marga. A light and sound show will be organised for the devotees in the evening. The Puri Police has initiated four layered security arrangements for the inauguration ceremony. The entire city will be under CCTV surveillance. The Chief Minister will also inaugurate several infrastructure and amenity projects in Puri today. These include the state’s first trumpet bridge – Sri Setu and Shri Marg.
Earlier yesterday, 5T and Nabin Odisha Chairman Kartik Pandian reviewed the works at ground zero and took stock of the inauguration preparations.
