Balasore: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will flag off the Baristha Nagarika Tirtha Yatra Train from Balasore today. The Special train will take senior citizens to pilgrim places in the Ujjain-Omkareswar route. The Government of Odisha has made all arrangement for the pilgrims for a hassle free experience of free pilgrimage. Senior citizens from Balasore, Bhadrak, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and Jajpur are taking part in this pilgrimage.
The Government of Odisha facilitates the pilgrimage of senior citizens to various important places of the country under the Baristha Nagarika Tirtha Yatra Yojana. The special train will carry more than 900 pilgrims who will be accompanied by government officials, doctors and nurses, and escorting officers.
