Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will today inaugurate the Capacity Enhancement Center of consulting major Deloitte at the ICOMC Tower in Bhubaneswar. Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will also attend the program. The functioning of the Deloitte Center will further boost Odisha’s Information Technology growth and create huge job opportunities for the youth of the state. The Company had promised to open its office at Bhubaneswar during the interaction with Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and 5T Secretary V K Pandian at the Odisha Investors Meeting held at Bengaluru.

According to sources, the Bhubaneswar Deloitte Center will also greatly add to the India operations of Deloitte which is expanding its presence in the country. The company is expected to recruit more than one thousand people in various positions from Information Technology, Auditing, Consultancy, Knowledge Services etc. A large number of these recruitments are expected to be made locally as Odisha has the best talent pool required.
The opening of the Deloitte Center in Bhubaneswar is an example of Odisha’s attractiveness as a major destination for global firms. The Government of Odisha led by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has created a robust infrastructure for new age technologies and the thrust has been on IT, ITES, Services, BPO, KPO and the ESDM sectors. Under the aegis of 5T Initiatives, the overall governance mechanism has been transformed and all parameters of Ease of Doing have been transformed.
