Bhubaneswar: Today is the 76th Capital Foundation Day. On this day, in 1948, India’s first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru laid the foundation for the modern capital city of Bhubaneswar. On this occasion, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has extended his greetings to all. Taking to X, Naveen wrote “Clean and green, beautiful capital Bhubaneswar. Keeping its heritage and dignity intact, Bhubaneswar has written new history in various fields by prioritizing the welfare of the people. With the touch of transformation, it has scaled new heights of development. Let’s continue this trend… my best wishes to all on Capital Foundation Day.”
