Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has sanctioned Rs 2.49 crore for reconstruction of Bahanaga High School in Balasore district under the 5T initiative of the State Government.
The money has been sanctioned from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
Notably, after the terrible triple train accident that took place at Bahanaga railway station on June 2, the local people and teachers of Bahanaga High School immediately joined in the rescue and relief works.
Praising their efforts, the Chief Minister has ordered to include the Bahanaga High School under the 5T transformation programme.
On the direction of the Chief Minister, Secretary to CM (5T) VK Pandian held a detailed discussion with the students, teachers and school management committee of Bahanaga High School, peoples’ representatives and the district Collector regarding the development of the school.
