Bhubaneswar: Odisha Congress in-charge Dr A Chellakumar has started deliberations with the senior leaders of the state on a wide range of issues including the probable change in the state leadership. This meeting with the state leaders comes at a time when the party has performed very badly in the last Panchayat and Urban polls. After arriving in Bhubaneswar, he has already held meetings with senior leaders like Narasingha Mishra and others.
Responding to media queries, Chellakumar has said that change of leadership in state is the main agenda and he will discuss with party MLAs and senior leaders regarding this. He also said that, the present PCC Chief Niranjan Patnaik had submitted resignation in 2019, but it’s yet to be accepted. Chellakumar said, he will give a detailed report to the high command, and Party Chief Sonia Gandhi will take the final call.
