Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday reviewed the “Mo Sarkar” programme by various department and said that continuous good service delivery is the objective of the programme.
“It is not only the satisfaction of the people, but also the continuous delivery of good service is the objective of Mo Sarkar programme”, Naveen told the officials during the review meeting.
The Chief Minister said that it has been two years since the programme started.
It has played a major role in strengthening the trust and confidence of the public towards the government, he added.
The Chief Minister expressed satisfaction stating that the Mo Sarkar has brought about professionalism among the public servants. He said that the government officers are acting more responsibly towards the people.
He also urged the officials to ensure the implementation of all government programmes and services efficiently as per the objectives of Mo Sarkar. Hence, the database of the citizens should be updated regularly. It will further strengthen the governance and zero-tolerance policy for corruption, he added.
It is being known from the review meeting that a total of 222 services under 28 departments have been included under Mo Sarkar.
