Bhubaneswar: In the wake of the outspread of Corona Virus, Odisha Governemnt has taken a number of preventive steps and is fully prepared to take on the deadly virus, said Health Secretary Nukunja Bihari Dhal here today.
Speaking to media after attending a Video conferencing with the Union Helath secretary on the preparations to tackle the deadly Corona Virus, the State Health Secretary said, Special Wards have been set up at the Capital Hospital, Bhubaneswar, AIIMS, SCB medical college and VIMSAR, Burla to treat any infected patients.
The State Government has also asked the doctors to start immediate treatment of patients with symptoms of Corona Virus.
The State Government has set up two control rooms for this purpose besides issuing alert at the Paradeep Port about the deadly virus. Meanwhile, health check up is being done with thermal sensing device at the Bhubaneswar Airport.
