Puri: With the increase in Coronavirus cases in the country, the Puri district administration on Sunday announced closure of Sun Temple at Konark for tourists for the next seven days.
“Sun Temple at Konark will remain closed for tourists and visitors for the next seven days to check the outbreak of the Coronavirus,” said Puri Collector Balwant Singh.
Necessary preventive measures have been put in place by the administration as per the advisory issued in the country, Singh added.
Thousands of tourists from across the globe visit the 13th century monument daily.
