Bhubaneswar: As many as 96 patients from Ganjam district have recovered from COVID-19 on Tuesday, informed the Odisha Health and Family Welfare Department.
They are among the 217 patients, who recovered from the disease and have been discharged from hospital, the Health Department said.
Of the recovered cases, 18 cases are from Khurdha, 16 from Balasore, 15 from Mayurbhanj, 13 from Bargarh, 12 from Keonjhar, 8 from Jharsuguda, 7 from Malkangiri, 6 from Jajpur, 5 from Angul & Cuttack, 4 each from Dhenkanal and Puri, 3 from Jagatsinghpur, 2 each from Kendrapara & Sonepur and one from Bolangir, it added.
The total recovered cases of Odisha now stand at 6703.
With 96 recoveries, Ganjam’s COVID-19 recoveries reached 1583 and the number of active cases dropped to 1013.
