COVID-19: All Govt Offices in Puri to Remain Open on Holidays

Puri: As part of the preventive measures to check spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19), the Puri district administration announced that all government offices in the district will remain open on holidays.

All the state government offices located within jurisdiction of Puri district shall remain open till March 31 even on holidays, informed Puri Collector Balwant Singh.

He also urged the officials not to leave the headquarters as administration requires assistance of the services of all the district level officers at any moment to face the emergency.

The Collector further said that vehicles and passengers will be inspected at Pipli entry point by a joint team comprising road transport department, police and health officials from Monday.
