Bhubaneswar: Maintaining its downtrend in new cases, Bhubaneswar has reported less than 50 fresh cases of COVID-19 in a single day on Tuesday.
According to the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), the capital city has registered 48 positive cases in the last 24 hours.
Of the new cases, 37 are the local contact cases, the BMC added.
Meanwhile, 64 patients have recovered from the virus during the same period, taking the tally of those recovered from disease to 29358 in the BMC area.
The number of active cases in Bhubaneswar now stands at 650.
