Paralakhemundi: With a view to ensure proper treatment and care of COVID-19 patients during the second wave of the pandemic, the Gajapati administration has started the COVID Hospital, R Sitapur from Thursday.
The hospital has 10 ICU Beds and 47 dedicated Oxygen Supported beds and other general beds.
The COVID Hospital is being managed in PPP Mode by Hi – Tech Medical College and Hospital , Bhubaneswar under the financial support of Odisha Hydro Power Corporation Limited.
The COVID Care Centre, ANWESHA, Belaguda with a capacity of 280 beds is already functioning .
The COVID Care Centre , Kaliapata and Dedicated COVID Health Centre (DCHC), SNC, Belaguda are also ready to operate as per requirement, the Gajapati district administration said.
Meanwhile, Gajapati Collector Anupam Saha has appealed to the people to adhere to the COVID appropriate behavior and follow the guidelines issued by the Government.
