COVID-19: Odisha Reports Highest Single Day Recovery as 123 Patients Cured

Bhubaneswar: Odisha has reported the highest single day recovery of COVID-19 patients on Friday as 123 persons recovered from the disease.

“Very happy to share that today we have a record number of COVID-19 recoveries in the State, with 123 Covid patients being discharged. The total recovered cases of Odisha now stand at 1604”, the Odisha Health and Family Welfare Department tweeted.

The Health Department has lauded the efforts of the COVID-19 warriors for the achievement.

“This has been possible due to the untiring efforts of all Covid hospitals, doctors, nurses, paramedics, ANMs, ASHAs, Anganwadi workers, teachers, Sarpanches and support staff including community health volunteers, as well as the police and administrative staff involved”, the Department said.
“We salute the selfless service of our Covid Warriors”, it added.

The 123 new recoveries are from the following districts:

Ganjam: 35
Cuttack: 22
Nuapada: 14
Balangir: 14
Khurda: 10
Kandhamal:7
Koraput:5
Kendrapara: 4
Balasore: 3
Dhenkanal: 3
Nayagarh: 3
Angul: 1
Mayurbhanj: 1
Sundargarh: 1
