COVID-19: Sambalpur Admin Announces Two-phase Shutdown in Entire District from Tomorrow till July 31
Sambalpur: In the wake of spike in COVID-19 cases, the Sambalpur Collector Shubham Saxena has ordered two phase shut- down in the district from July 22 to 31
According to an order issued by the Collector, the phase-I shutdown will be enforced for 4 days and in second phases shutdown will be imposed for 6 days.
While, the phase-I shutdown will be from July 22 to 25, the second phase will start from July 26 till 31.
During the phase-I shutdown, the intra-district movement of public and private transport, and closure of shops and establishments, government and private institutions and movement/assembly of people are restricted, the order stated
Similarly, during the Phase-II shutdown, all shops and commercial establishments, offices and institutions shall remain closed and mobility of people restricted and no two wheelers except for the exempted categories activities will be allowed to ply.
