Parlakhemundi: In the wake of recent surge in Covid cases, Gajapati district administration has decided to seal its borders leading to the neighboring state from today.
The district administration is closely monitoring the commuters from other State.
People coming from the other State and districts are required to show the RTPCR report obtained within 72 hours before or the two-phase vaccination report.
Commuters who do not have the RTPCR report will not be allowed to enter the district and will be isolated for seven days.
The travel history of all commuters coming to the district is being checked by the officials.
Notably, the district has reported 14 more positive cases today, taking the total tally to 4,125.
Similarly, Sundargarh district has also sealed its border with Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh States.
