Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has allowed offline registration of beneficiaries for COVID-19 vaccination in the state.
Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mahapatra wrote to all Collectors, Municipal Commissioners, CDMOs and PHOs in this regard.
“In case the team faces any issues with Co-WIN portal, you can undertake COVID vaccination of age appropriate group of citizens in offline mode to prevent inconvenience to elderly persons in queue,” the letter reads.
However, once the Co-WIN portal functions normally, the data must be uploaded on the portal immediately.
The list of documents required for offline registration include Mobile number, ID proof: Aadhaar/ voter ID card, ID number of ID proof, Name, Date of Birth, Gender and Comorbidity certificate from RMP (for 45 to 59 yrs).
The third phase of COVID-19 vaccination drive started today.
People who are aged or will attain the age of 60 or more as on January 1, 2022 are eligible to for the vaccination.
Besides, citizens aged above 45 years and below 59 years as on January 1, 2022 and have comorbidities are also eligible to get vaccinated in this phase.
