Rayagada: Acting of reliable information, the Special Task Force of the Odisha Crime Branch has detected a case of illegal trade/transportation of unfinished precious stones yesterday at Rayagada Town.
Huge quantity of unfinished precious stones like Rubby, Panna, Black diamond, Cast eye, Moon Stone, Amethyst etc., weighing 153 kgs were seized and one accused person namely Jitendra Kumar Behera of Rayagada Town Dist has been arrested. A car and other incriminating materials were also seized from his possession. A case has been registered at Rayagada Police Station for necessary legal action.
