Balasore: Odisha Chief Secretary Suresh Mahapatra along with 5T Secretary V K Pandian and Works Secretary Dr Krishan Kumar are on a visit to Balasore today to review various developmental projects. The visiting officials reached Policeline ground in the morning and were received by Collector K Sudarshan Chakrabarty.
The Chief Secretary and 5T Secretary first went to various places of the city to take first hand stock of the various issues concerning the city. Also, they had a detailed review regarding the Covid situation in the district with senior district officials. The visiting team also reviewed the various developmental projects being undertaken under the gambit of 5T such as construction works of Government Medical College, city beautification program and setting up of a park.
Speaking to media persons, Chief Secretary Suresh Mohapatra has said that “as per the Chief Minister’s instructions, the senior officers visited Balasore and discussed various issues with the district administration. They will appraise the CM regarding the various requirements of the city.”
