Bolangir: Odisha Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mahapatra and 5T Secretary V K Pandian are on a one day visit to Bolangir district to review various developmental projects being undertaken by the government. The senior officials along with Water Resources Secretary Anu Garg visited the Lower Suktel Irrigation project site to review the progress of the project. District officials including Collector Chanchal Rana appraised the visiting officers on the various issues related to the project. While early completion of the project is the priority, the senior officials stressed upon proper rehabilitation of the displaced people.
The Chief Secretary and 5T Secretary along with NHM Director Shalini Pandit also visited the Bhima Bhoi Medical College and Hospital in Bolangir and reviewed the health infrastructure works and Covid-19 preparedness. They also discussed about the Liquid Medical Oxygen Plant being set up in the Medical College. They also went to the two Government Schools – Panchayat Samiti School at Deogaon and PP Academy High School to review the developmental works that are being carried out under the Schools Transformation program of the state government.
