Cuttack: The Commissionerate police today arrested one dreaded criminal Budhia Das from Chauliaganj area of Cuttack.
Budhia is involved in more than 15 criminal cases in Cuttack and nearby districts. Acting on a tip off, the police raided an area near to NLU and tried to arrest Budhia.
But the accused opened fire in which one police personnel was injured. The police had to retaliate in which Budhia was injured. A country made 9. mm pistol loaded with two rounds of ammunition was also recovered from Budhia.
