Cuttack: Executive Engineer Arrested for Possessing Disproportionate Assets worth More Than 508% of His Income

Cuttack: Odisha Vigilance arrested an executive engineer in Cuttack district for allegedly possessing disproportionate assets worth more than 508% of his known source of income.

Manoj Kumar Behera, Executive Engineer, Drainage Division, Gandarpur, Cuttack has been arrested and forwarded by Odisha Vigilance for possession of disproportionate assets worth Rs. 4,26,44,941 which constitutes 508% of his known source of income, the Vigilance said.

A case was registered against Behera and his spouse in this connection.

Earlier on Wednesday, the vigilance sleuths conducted simultaneous raids on the houses and property at four places in Cuttack and Bhubaneswar associated with Behera due to the allegation of accumulation of disproportionate assets by him.
