Cuttack: The Cuttack Madhupatana Police has arrested Santosh Khuntia, husband of Shilpi Khuntia on charges of abetment to suicide. Shilpi was found dead yesterday in her residence along with their two year old step son. It is alleged that Shilpi killed her step son and committed suicide due to marital discord. Shilpi’s parents have alleged that her husband used to harass her. Santosh has been charged under Sections 306 and 302 of the IPC. Shilpi’s parents had filed a complaint at the police station alleging that Shilpi committed suicide due to the continuous torture by her husband.
