Puri: On the wake of Met Department has put Odisha on Yellow alert and the extremely severe cyclonic storm ‘FANI’ is likely to make landfall near Puri on afternoon of May 3,Tourists have been advised to leave Puri by tomorrow evening.
It has also been advised that non- essential travel may be cancelled during 3- 4 May to the likely affected districts in Odisha.
Extremely Severe Cyclonic Storm Fani likely to hit Odisha coast between Gopalpur and Chandbali, south of Puri on 3rd May with wind speed of 175-185 kmph gusting up to 205 kmph.
