Cyclone Yaas: Grocery shops, Other Essential Items Allowed to Open between 7 am to 1 pm on Monday & Tuesday in 10 Coastal Dists

Bhubaneswar: With a view to allowing people more time to obtain essential items from market during lockdown before the impending cyclone reaches the coast of Odisha, the State Government has allowed groserry shops, OMFED booths and shops dealing with food & essential items, vegetables, fish, meat & egg are to open between 7 am to 1 pm on Monday and Tuesday in 10 coastal and adjoining districts.

A notification has been issued by the Office of Special Relief Commissioner in this regard.

The ten coastal districts are Balasore, Bhadrak, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Puri, Jajpur, Cuttack and Khordha.
