Bhubaneswar: Even as cold wave conditions prevailing in most of the interior districts of Odisha, Daringbadi recorded its lowest temperature of the season with mercury falling to 4 degree Celsius. Other places that recorded dip in temperatures include Jharsuguda which recorded 5.6 degrees, Phulbani 6.5 degrees, Sonepur 6.9 degrees, and Kendujhar 7.4 degrees. 13 places in the state have recorded temperatures less than ten degrees in Odisha.
Due to the active dry and cold winds from north and north-west India, the minimum temperature will fall by 2-3° degrees in most parts of Odisha in the next 3 days. Under this influence, cold conditions likely to prevail over entire Odisha from today.
